TWO crossbows were stolen from an Alloa shop during a smash and grab last night.
The weapons were lifted from the window display of Alloa Angling Shop overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, June 13 and 14.
The items include an Anglo Arms 'Panther' 175lb crossbow as well as an aluminium Anglo Arms 'Cyclone' 80lb self-cocking pistol crossbow.
Officers were seen investigating the scene on Drysdale Street this morning, where the street front window was smashed in order to carry out the theft, with an inquiry now underway.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.
