FORTH Valley First Responders will keep running thanks to a generous donation from Alloa Round Table.
Receiving a cheque for £600 on behalf of the charity were Gary and Chloe Drummond, they are pictured with the round table's John Dornan, familiar from local business Party People.
Forth Valley First Responders, which only gets its fuel costs covered by the Scottish Ambulance Service, needs around £2,500 to run the charity each year.
Its volunteers respond to around two calls a day, providing an additional resources before the ambulance arrives – not replacing existing services.
Meanwhile Gary, an enthusiastic fundraiser, has been organising a white water rafting challenge on the River Tummel, to be held on Saturday, July 29.
He has managed to rope 15 people in so far from Diageo, the first responders and the local round table as well – so far they have collectively raised around £2,500.
Groups of five can still apply, each person will need to raise at least £100 each in sponsorship.
