THERE was plenty of laughter on the High Street of Alloa last week when Bob Bonkers entertained youngsters and adults at the performance area.

The two one-hour shows were part of Alloa Town Centre Business Improvement District's (BID) Summer in Alloa programme last Thursday.

The entertainer brought his magic and antics to what was once again a strong crowd turning up on the day.

Further down the street, visitors to the town centre also had the chance to enjoy some Italian ice cream from the Monteith cart and there was a chance to get glitter tattoos as well.

Mr Puffin was there too, making wishes come true with his balloon model creations while the BID team put a pocket money toy sale on for bargain prices.

Tomorrow (Thursday), will be a different kind of affair as youngsters will be able to get involved in a workshop with Just Dance Elite.

Each week, the events are held between 11.30am and 2.30pm on the day – the programme is on to its final four events.

Coming up next week will be Owl Magic with handling and photo opportunities, while the week after, Scott Lovat is expected to bring his magic show and puppets.

New this year will be the End of Summer Party which will see a disco, games, competitions, prizes and special guests.
