The case was held in private at Alloa Sheriff Court
A MAN has appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court after being charged with sexually assaulting a child.
The 23-year-old was charged under section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act 2009 which is sexual assault on a young child by penetration.
The accused appeared in private on Monday and made no plea or declaration.
He was remanded in custody and will be brought back to court next week for a full committal hearing.
