A POSTER competition has been launched to help celebrate the Years of Young People 2018.

Staff at CTSI were motivated to organised to contest in a bid to encourage more young people to get involved and sign up for volunteering.

They want to see the current rise in young volunteers in Clacks continue and grow through the Year of Young People 2018 and to see every young person earn a Saltire Award.

The competition, which is open to three age groups, primary, secondary and those up to 26-years-old, can be produced in any form.

It can be graphic, paint or photography style but it must aim to encourage people to get involved.

Anthea Coulter, CTSI business manager, said: "Recently I visited the London Museum of Transport and there was a wonderful exhibition of travel posters that had been produced by women only.

"It made me think it would be great to get young people to design their poster for volunteering for this year. We want them to be creative and have fun and there are some great prizes too."

For more details, visit the website ctsi.org.uk, CTSI's Facebook page or email in by the end of March to the volunteer development officer, louise.orr@ctsi.org.uk with entries.

A full exhibition of the posters will be on show in April with a final decision made by a panel of young people.
