BOWLING clubs in the Wee County are holding their open days this weekend to kick the outdoor season off.
The Patons and Baldwins Bowling Club in Alloa will be holding its event on Saturday, April 7. People are asked to arrive at the club at 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
Organisers are hoping for a good turnout to ensure a healthy start to the season. The treasurer will also be on hand to take subscription fees.
On the same day, Cambus and District Bowling Club will also be holding its open day.
New members are welcome at 2pm for a 2.30pm start.
And the week after, on Saturday April 14, Dollar Bowling Club will also be opening the outdoor season with their president v vice-president match – 2pm for a 2.30pm start.
