GINS from around the world and the UK will be on offer during an 11-day festival at an Alloa pub this month.
The Bobbing John will be serving up spirits from Japan, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy and from closer to home as part of the Wetherspoon-wide event between Friday, August 17, and Monday, August 27.
There will be award-winning numbers alongside some flavoured drinks, the overseas gins include Gin Mare from Spain, Roku from Japan and Malfy Gin Con Limone from Italy among others.
UK drinks will include Jawbox Single Dry Gin, Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin, Wrecking Coast Clotted Cream Gin and more.
Single measures will be available between £2.85 and £4.35 including a mixer and everything will be served in bulbous Copa de Balon glasses – perfect for the classic gin and tonic.
Stewart McGill, manager at the Bobbing John, said: "The majority of gins in the festival have not been available in the pub beforehand and I am looking forward to serving them.
"The festival promises to be great fun and I am certain that our customers will enjoy trying the superb range of gins that we have on offer."
Tasting notes on all gins will be available at the pub.
