AN ALVA man has denied approaching a young girl and telling her to get into his vehicle before uttering threats of violence.
The 45-year-old appeared from custody at Alloa Sheriff Court on Friday, August 24, where pleaded not guilty to the single charge.
It is alleged that on one occasion between June 29 and August 20, 2018, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm when he approached two girls on Ash Grove, in Alloa.
According to the court papers, he is accused of telling one the girls to get into his vehicle, before acting in an aggressive manner towards them and uttering threats of violence.
The accused was bailed following his appearance but has been ordered to return to court on September 17 for an intermediate diet.
A trial date, meanwhile, has been set down for October 3.
