RESIDENTS are invited to join the RSPB down at the Black Devon Wetlands to see what the wildlife gets up to when the sun goes down.

An event is being held at the Alloa reserve on Saturday, September 15, between 8-10pm which will allow visitors the chance to have a night-time wander.

The RSPB will provide moth traps and bat detectors so people can look for moths and listen out for bats.

Then, a guided torch-lit walk around the reserve will be followed by hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.

Booking for the Black Devon After Dark event is essential and costs £4 for adults, £2 for children while RSPB members get a 20 per cent discount.

Search for the reserve on rspb.org.uk for more information.
