FRESH timetables for revised bus services should be in place next Monday morning when the new First Bus routes launch.
Everything is ready to go out on Sunday night with the “aim” of having the works complete by the morning of September 10.
When services were last revised two years ago, the Advertiser received numerous complaints from passengers as timetables were not updated straight away across the Wee County and in neighbouring Stirling.
However, local councils are hoping to avoid a repeat.
A spokeswoman for Clackmannanshire Council explained neighbouring Stirling Council is taking the lead on the timetable updates with numerous changes in both areas.
She added: “Stirling Council staff have all the timetables ready to go out on Sunday night and they aim to have this done by Monday morning.”
The new timetables for the 51 and 52 buses, which replace current services 62 and 63, are available via firstgroup.com or on the company’s travel application for smartphones.
