OFFICIALS at Stirling Sheriff and JP Court have issued a public summons to all this weekend as part of Doors Open Day 2018.
Members of the public can visit the court tomorrow (Saturday, September 15) for tours and visits to the cells.
The court will be open between 10am and 4pm and the tours will visit courtrooms as well as the custody facilities.
Events are being staged across Scotland for Doors Open Days during the month of September.
Stirling is one of 15 courts across Scotland taking part, along with Aberdeen, Ayr, Dumfries, Dundee, Edinburgh, Forfar, Glasgow, Greenock, Hamilton, Inverness, Paisley, Perth, Stirling, the Supreme Courts in Parliament House, Edinburgh, and the High Court in Glasgow.
The Scotland-wide Doors Open Days, organised by the Scottish Civic Trust, enable people to visit hundreds of buildings normally closed to the public. Details of the event can be found on the Doors Open Day website.
