A TULLIBODY woman has admitted crashing her car twice while double the legal limit at half nine in the morning.

Lucy Allan pleaded guilty to six charges at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday, September 17.

According to the charges, all of Allan’s crimes took place on Main Street and Stirling Road and roads between.

The depute fiscal said that on June 16 the 28-year-old was seen reversing into a fence protecting an electrical circuit.

When approached by a witness she was seen to slur her words before driving off and crashing into a wall while exiting a car park.

Allan then made off and entered a carriageway when it was not safe to do so causing another witness to take immediate evasive action to avoid a collision.

The accused then left her vehicle while it blocked two lanes of traffic and proceeded to slap a male witness.

Two police officers then attended the scene quickly and when attempting to arrest Allan, who was staggering, were obstructed as she lashed out at the pair.

A breath test showed a reading of 38mcg when the limit is 22mcg.

Reports were called for by Sheriff David Mackie. Allan, of Glentye Drive, will be sentenced on October 18.
