A STIRLING dairy scooped an award with a fresh product this month.
Graham’s Family Dairy won in the Best New Product category at the inaugural Co-op and Scotmid Scottish Supplier Awards with its Protein 22 product.
The awards night took place on Wednesday, September 12, with celebrity chef Nick Nairn leading the judging panel.
He said: “It makes me extremely proud to see the cream of the Scottish food industry in the room tonight – the sheer standard of produce created within our nation is to be celebrated and whilst the judging process was extremely tricky, it’s fantastic to shine a light on some of the country’s most talented and innovative producers.
“I’d like to extend my congratulations to all winners – our foodie future looks very bright indeed!”
John McNeill, of the Co-op, added: “Tonight has been a fantastic celebration of Scotland’s flourishing food and drink industry, which the Co-op is so proud to support.
“We are thrilled to be able to host our first ever event during Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight – further proof of our commitment to providing our customers and members with the very best choice of high-quality Scottish produce.”
