THE charity Guide Dogs needs Stirling residents to give up just one hour of their time this October to help them out.
Locals are being encouraged to attend one of four fundraising collections taking place at the Homebase store in Springkerse Retail Park during Guide Dogs Week - running from October 6 - 14.
Community fundraiser Anne Rowse said: “By donating an hour, volunteers will have the chance to meet new people, learn more about our work and most importantly have fun.
“The money we raise at the collection will help more people benefit from the services we provide, such as our life-changing guide dogs, volunteer sighted guides and support for children with a visual impairment.
“Families are very welcome to volunteer together and we would love to hear from anyone who can give just an hour of their time to make a huge difference.”
If you are interested in helping out on October 6, 7, 13 or 14, contact the Guide Dogs office on 0345 143 0203, or click here.
