STUDENTS were reassured by potential employers that mental health problems would not hinder their career prospects at events at Forth Valley College's campuses on Wednesday, October 10.
Local business were invited to set up stalls and meet students on the day, as part of the college's efforts to mark International Mental Health Day.
Employers who attended the Alloa campus included Historic Environment Scotland, Clackmannanshire Womens’ Aid, the Alloa Advertiser and Skills Development Scotland.
The campus also hosted a crafts table, to allow students to relax their mind while creating.
Alice Smith, the college's wellbeing and support officer, said: “The event went well and was well received by students.
"Speaking to exhibitors in each campus, the general consensus was ‘as long as they made just one student aware of their service’ then it was a success.
"Thanks to all who supported the events.’’
