ALLOA'S New Struan School for youngsters with autism was buzzing with excitement this month as it held its first ever careers fair.
Pupils were given the chance to find out more about some of the job opportunities available to them on Tuesday, October 9.
Rachel Watson, a teacher at the school, said: "The event was set up as part of the school topic people who help us, to showcase to the young people the different types of careers that you can aspire to but also to show that no matter what job you do, you are helping the community or someone in some way.
"The reaction to the event was fantastic, there was a real buzz from the young people and staff.
"We really appreciated all the different professionals coming along and sharing their roles with the young people."
After the success of the event, the school are hoping to hold another career fair next year.
