THE Sauchie Community Group is to hold its first ever Christmas Concert next month by bringing together a rich array of local home-grown talent.

On Friday November 30, some of Clackmannanshire’s best known names and groups are taking to the stage to help get audience members into the Christmas spirit with tickets already selling fast for what organisers are promising will be a night to remember.

X-Factor’s Andrea Wilson, who is holding her own show on the November 3 in the Tolbooth in Stirling, will be joined on the night by Craig Miller, Sheila McRobert, Just Dance, Sauchie Community Group Choir, Donald Cowan, Clackmannan District Brass Band, Susan Chown and others still to be announced for a fun filled extravaganza .

Tickets are already on sale from Sauchie Resource Centre for £12 (£10 concession or £5 for school children) or by calling the ticket hotline on 01259 574854.

All proceeds raised will go towards Sauchie Community Group, a Scottish Charity, to continue their work of tackling inequality and poverty through activities.

Craig Miller, the organiser of the event, said: “We have brought together a wonderfully talented cast to entertain the people of Clackmannanshire.

“The Christmas Extravaganza promises to be a fantastic night and a great opportunity to raise some vital funds for Sauchie Community Group.

The Christmas Extravaganza will take place at 7.30pm in Alloa Town Hall on Friday November 30.
