DELIGHTED staff at Alloa's Ochil Fudge Pantry are buzzing after an appearance at the BBC Good Food Show and a recent move to bigger and better premises.

The company has been running for eight years, and in that time has gone from a small kitchen-based business into a fully-fledged firm supplying nearly 100 clients.

Staff took time out from their busy schedule to stop by the Good Food Show in Glasgow on Friday, October 19.

The Pantry's owner and manager Helen Clark told The Advertiser: "It was really good – we were there until Sunday."

Commenting on the business's recent venue change, she added: "We've moved to a newer premises that's a bit more kitted out, which is the way we wanted it.

"It's given us better facilities from what we've had, and we've been there for about four weeks now. You've got to speculate to accumulate."

The aim of the move was to give the company the facilities to handle more orders and house more employees as it continues to grow.

Helen said: "We started off at farmers' markets and we've been growing since then, and we've got about 90 stockists now.

"Everything's going to plan and now we can look at moving to the next phase which is looking at our branding and our packaging.

"We're also planning to get some more staff in next year too."

At any one time, the Ochil Fudge Pantry has around 35 different fudge flavours on offer, and all are available to by in store or online.
