A WOMAN caught walking around drunk at Shillinghill while looking after a one-year-old child has been given a Community Payback Order (CPO).
Claire Clarke, 40, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court for sentencing on Thursday, November 1, having pleaded guilty at an intermediate diet.
The charge states that on June 28 last year, at Shillinghill, a public place in Alloa, she was drunk while looking after the toddler.
Referring to a Criminal Justice and Social Work report prepared for the court, Clarke's lawyer said: "The report makes reference to periods of a lack of engagement from her.
"She is now attending meetings with drug workers and recent tests show she has not been taking drugs."
Sheriff Christopher Shead handed Clarke, of Acer Crescent, Tullibody, a CPO with a 12 month supervision period where she will be required to see a social worker.
