A NECKLACE of “extremely sentimental” value was stolen from a Tullibody home earlier in November.
Police are now appealing for information in a bid to recover the piece of jewellery.
The theft occurred early-November when the Newmills ground floor flat was broken into sometime during the day.
Officers say entry to the property was gained via the ground floor window looking onto the building site of the new Tullibody South Campus on Wednesday, November 7, sometime between 8.30am and 4.15pm.
Appealing for information on social media, police said: “Do you recognise this necklace which was stolen?
“If you have any information that may assist in our investigation and help recover this extremely sentimental piece of jewellery please contact the reporting officer PC 266 Neale Kennedy or Community Officer PC 421 Leigh Allen.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous, quoting the reference number CF0148211118.
