A WEE COUNTY pensioner has denied sexually assaulting a mentally-impaired woman, a court has heard.
The man, 79, of Southcroft, Alva, entered the plea to two charges at Alloa Sheriff Court on Thursday, November 29.
It is alleged that, on various occasions between March 1 and September 3 last year, he sexually assaulted the woman by causing her to remove her lower clothing, by touching her private parts, by exposing himself and causing her to perform a sex act on him, and touching her breasts by lifting her top.
It is also alleged that over the same period he observed and recorded the same woman carrying out a private act, and took pictures of her private parts on his mobile phone.
Court papers argue the woman was unable to consent to the alleged offences as she suffers from a mental disorder.
The case will call again in the new year for an intermediate diet, with a trial date scheduled for early March.
