THERE was plenty of talent on display as Lornshill Academy opened its doors for its annual Christmas concert.
The fun-filled evening provided members of the community and parents with a fantastic variety of musical and dance performances, and all who attended were left highly impressed with the talent on show.
There was a wide spectrum of acts on show, ranging from a healthy mixture of vocal groups and bands to instrumental ensembles and solo performances.
Rachel Henry, a music teacher at the school, told the Advertiser: "Every performance highlighted the exceptional local talent from all year groups.
"With many different styles and something to suit everyone, the evening culminated in a rousing performance of All I Want for Christmas with all 80 plus young people and students taking part.
"In addition to the entertainment, there were also many stalls provided by different departments in the school.
"The evening was a great success and all proceeds are put towards funding Lornshill's exciting new production of Little Shop of Horrors, which will take place on June 8 and 9 in Alloa Town Hall."
