LITTLE princes and princesses enjoyed a fairy tale experience in Alloa with their families at the weekend.

Inglewood House and Spa for the first time organised its fairy tale afternoon tea party on Sunday, January 13, and the event went down a treat with children, who appeared all dressed up in costumes for the occasion.

The idea was to give families a reason to go out, enjoy good food and have fun with the children.

The local venue’s Steven Campbell told the Advertiser there has been some great feedback

He said: “It’s the first one we’ve ever done, so it was something completely different for us.

“It was great, everyone really enjoyed themselves and all the staff got into it.”

On offer was a delicious afternoon tea and a fairy tale atmosphere with music to keep the little ones on their feet.

There was also a meet and greet with Belle and the Beast while staff donned costumes, bringing to the event characters like Prince Charming, Cinderella and Snow White.

The afternoon attracted around 50 and there are hopes to grow it even further.

And there will be other similar occasions to keep an eye out for at Inglewood as well in the near future with a Harry Pottery themed wizarding afternoon tea and a superheroes brunch in February.

Steven added: “The team are brilliant at it, they always try and come up with new events just to offer something a bit different.”
