DOLLAR resident Mrs Elspeth Campbell celebrated reaching the milestone of her hundredth birthday recently with a family tea party at home.
She received a surprise visit from the Lord Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire, Lt. Col. Johnny Stewart, who delivered a congratulatory card on behalf of HM the Queen.
For more than 20 years Mrs Campbell and her family lived in Tillicoultry, where her late husband Rev Pat Campbell was minister of Tillicoultry Parish Church.
Among all her other visitors she was also delighted to receive a visit from the current Tillicoultry minister, Rev Alison Britchfield.
The minister delivered a flower arrangement and card signed by her old friends in the congregation.
Mrs Campbell would like to thank everyone for their kindness and good wishes and hopes to carry on into her second century enjoying life as much as in her first.
