FINE and fresh produce from around Scotland is promised for visitors to this weekend’s Stirling Farmers’ Market.
The stalls will be back on the city’s Port Street from 10am until 4pm this Saturday, March 9.
New this time around will be Caldwell’s, brining a range of home grown vegetables, including some unusual numbers.
Founder Gordon Caldwell said: “Our main crops are carrots, leeks, beetroot, cauliflower, kale and broccoli.
“But also look out for some of our more unusual veg such as heritage varieties of carrots and purple cauliflowers.”
Regulars at the market will be offering award winning cheeses, free range hens’ and ducks’ eggs, Highland beef, Fife pork, artisan breads and scones, wild game as well as fresh and shellfish.
Rounding things off will be fruit wines, craft beers, gins and honey mead as well.
