Another busy week in Brighton and as the sun seems to have come out for Easter people look to be heading to the beach. So surely there will be plenty of seaside shots to take up next week’s Instagram page. This week though there are plenty of wonderful sights from across Brighton, and even one from Lewes. From windmills and walkers to street art and award-winning singers, Brighton has seen plenty of itself posted on social media in the last few days. If you’d like your Instagram to feature on this page email jamie.walker@theargus.co.uk

2. Star Wars comes to Sussex

The Argus:

The @brighton.streetart page showcases some of the finest street art from across the city. This immense piece of art shows the brilliant At-At walkers from Star Wars. They are towering over clothing store Dirty Harry and look simply incredible

3. Marathon madness

The Argus:

During the Brighton Marathon punters gathered in Preston Park, ready to cheer on their friends and family or just to take in the spectacle and have a lovely day out in the sun. The @brightonmarathonweekend page captured all of the runners and punters and really captured what a brilliant occasion the race is

4. Dazzling Dome

The Argus:

The Brighton Dome is one of the best known venues in the city and the building is spectacular. This photo captures the venue on a quiet day, but you should see it when punters are queueing to get in. See @ilovebrighton for more

5. Green group

The Argus:

Do these outfits make you green with envy? They should, they certainly stand out. These fashion fans took to Brighton’s streets as a promotion tool and would have definitely stood out in a crowd. This photo was posted by

8. Wonderful windmill

The Argus:

This shot was taken in Lewes, not Brighton, but it was too good to miss out. What a picture from the

@trevpackerphotography Instagram

9. Seaside strollers

The Argus:

This is a great shot and a picture that highlights what any city should be. It’s simply people. Everyone who walks the streets, or in this case seafront, of the city are just going about their day to day business. So much can be told in a picture but in this one people’s lives remain a secret, and isn’t that quite beautiful in itself? Instagram user @violettewautier is the one who took this photo. Men, women and pets all play a part in telling this story but the only thing they all have in common is that they are all part of this photo

10. Record store revellers

The Argus:

As part of Record Store Day 2019 singer David Gedge, of popular Brighton band The Wedding Present, performed a special in store set at Resident record store. See @weddingpresent for more of band life
