A LOCAL Alzheimer’s Scotland fundraising group is holding two further events as they look to raise £100k to set up a dementia centre in Clackmannanshire.
The Clackmannanshire and Stirling fundraising branch of the dementia charity has already raised a phenomenal £35k thanks to a whole host of events and donations from local residents and businesses.
They will now look to raise even more with an afternoon tea at the Inchyra on Saturday, June 1.
On Saturday June 8 the group will be setting up stall in Stirling’s Thistle Centre to provide anyone interested with information on what they are doing and how everyone can get involved.
At the Thistle Centre, Debbie Cassidy, one of the members, and her team will also be giving information on dementia dogs and the work they do locally.
The event will coincide with Dementia Action Week which takes place from June 3 until June 8.
