A MAN has died after being involved in a vehicle collision on the A91, police have confirmed.

Three cars collided on the stretch of road between Menstrie to Alva on the morning of Thursday, February 9.

Emergency services raced to the scene and four people were taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 67-year-old man has died following a crash on the A91 Menstrie to Alva in Clackmannanshire.

"The incident happened around 11.20am on Thursday, February 9 and involved a red Fiat 500, a red Kia Picanto and a blue Honda CR-V.

"The four occupants of the cars, a man and three women, were all taken by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert.

"The 67-year-old male driver of the Fiat died in hospital on Saturday, February 11.

"Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 1111 of 9 February 2023."
