A woman was subjected to domestic abuse over a ten-month period in Clackmannan, including being repeatedly punched.
The culprit was 30-year-old Mohammed Khalid, of Beechwood Drive, Glenrothes, who was jailed when he appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between August 1, 2022 and June 1 last year, at an address in Clackmannan, he engaged in abusive behaviour towards his partner.
He shouted, swore, acted aggressively, made offensive remarks, repeatedly pushed her on the body and on multiple occasions threw her to the ground and repeatedly punched her on the head and body.
Sheriff Neil Bowie told Khalid: “The social work report does not cast you in a very good light in respect of your attitude.”
He jailed Khalid for 215 days and imposed a non-harassment order for three years.
