AN ALLOA man has been sentenced for an indecent image offence.
Darren Stark, 24, of Katrine Court, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court having been convicted after a trial.
On January 8, 2021 at Main Street, Sauchie, he downloaded an indecent image of a child.
Between March 4 and November 19, 2021, he was in possession of an indecent image of a child.
Sheriff Neil Bowie commented that given it was just one image it was a lower end of such offences.
He imposed a community payback order with a year’s supervision. Stark was also put on the sex offenders register for the same period.
