A CLACKS MSP has urged organisations in his constituency to take part in Keep Safe Scotland’s awareness day.
Keith Brown, MSP for Clackmannanshire and Dunblane, has called on local businesses and groups to help support disabled and vulnerable people by backing the police scheme.
The Keep Safe initiative aims to promote safer and more inclusive communities for all, particularly for those who are disabled and vulnerable.
This is carried out through a network comprising of more than 900 approved premises across Scotland, providing safe spaces where individuals can seek assistance.
With Keep Safe Awareness Day approaching on Wednesday, March 13, Keith Brown has urged all local organisations back the campaign.
He said: “I’m urging all local organisations to join me in supporting Keep Safe Awareness Day on March 13.
“By raising awareness of Keep Safe Scotland and encouraging the participation of local people and business, we can make our local streets safer and more inclusive for all.
“I’d urge everyone who could benefit from this to get a Keep Safe card and download the Keep Safe app – ensuring that our communities support those who need it the most.”
