ALLOA TOWER will play host to a distinct Easter Egg trail, organised by The National Trust for Scotland (NTS).

The Trust, which oversees the Alloa Tower, has launched three Easter Egg trails for families to enjoy, earmarking three of its sites to host the days out.

Alloa Tower was selected, as was the Hermitage and Moirlanich Longhouse, alongside a whole host of other locations across Scotland.

Stuart Maxwell, NTS regional director, said: “We are excited to welcome families to our Easter egg trails across Perthshire and the Forth Valley, with three trails taking place at the special places in our care.

“Each trail offers something completely different offering the perfect excuse to experience more than one and make treasured memories with families and friends, while supporting the Trust’s work to protect and share Scotland’s nature, beauty and heritage now and for future generations to enjoy.”

The Easter Egg Trail can be booked in advance, with each trail costing £4 with accompanying adults going free.

The Alloa Tower trail will be held on Saturday, March 30 until Monday, April 1, from 12pm-3pm.
