THERE will be an afternoon of live wrestling action in Tullibody when an American style event comes to town this month.

Touring group World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) will be at Tullibody Civic Centre on Saturday, April 20, with lights, cameras and plenty of action.

On the bill will be international talent including Poland’s UEWA European Heavyweight Champion Robert Star, London’s PROGRESS Wrestling star Malik and Canada’s Tim Strange.

W3L World Champion Taylor Bryden will be in action defending his title while there will also be women’s wrestling action featuring Rubi Roberts and stars seen on the WWE Network such as Lou King Sharp.

Event promoter Mike Musgrave told the Advertiser W3L is looking to bring the very best in professional wrestling to the Wee County town with American-style wrestling events becoming popular with families and children in the UK.

He said: “If kids enjoy watching pro wrestling on television they will love the experience of seeing live wrestling in their local venue.

“Kids and adult wrestling fans alike will love our event and we are excited to bring W3L Wrestling Showdown to Tullibody.

“We don’t just bring the ring and top wrestlers from around the world, fans will get the full pro wrestling experience with our lights and big screen with our cameras filming the action for the longest running weekly wrestling show on YouTube.”

Doors will open at 2.30pm on the day with the first bell at 3pm.

Front row seats are £19, general admission is £14, concessions £12, while tickets are also available for a family of four at £46 – all from w3lwrestling.com.
