A WEE COUNTY artist is gearing up to host his second exhibition on home turf, hoping to welcome as many as possible.

Kyle Blain is preparing to display his work in Sterling Mills, Tillicoultry, following his hugely successful showcase in Clackmannan last year.

As previously reported by the Advertiser, Kyle has been going from strength to strength with his art and is now looking forward to holding a six-day long exhibition.

Speaking to the Advertiser, he said: “I’ll be showing all of my paintings from throughout the years and I’ve made some new ones for it as well.

“These paintings will be in the same style as the work I’ve done before – musicians, album covers and some animal prints now too.

“There’s a bit of everything for everyone and I’m really looking forward to it.

“I did an exhibition in Clackmannan Town Hall last year but it was just a one day thing so a lot of people couldn’t make it.

“This will run for six days across the bank holiday so I’m hoping to get as many people in as possible which would be good.”

Kyle’s exhibition is set to run from Friday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 8 at Sterling Mills.

Visitors can stop by from 12pm to 6pm each day, including bank holiday Monday, with a range of items available for purchase as well.

Kyle added: “A lot of people have seen my works on Facebook and Instagram but they’ve said it’s a whole different experience seeing it in person.

“I’ll have new products like keyrings, postcards, bookmarks and magnets that I’ve never done before and all my paintings will be for sale.

“There will be a range of prints and you’ll be able to see a mix of my new and old works, covering a range of subjects from celebrity pop culture to animals and nature.”

Kyle’s artwork can be viewed and purchased from his website at kyleblainart.com.
