WEE COUNTY parents and pupils are invited to experience a day in the life of Beaconhurst School at an Open Afternoon next month.

Prospective families have the chance to see the independent Bridge of Allan school in action on Thursday, February 9 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

There will be guided tours around the campus as pupils and staff go about their normal business giving a real insight into how Beaconhurst operates.

There will also be the opportunity to speak with members of the senior leadership team, heads of department, teachers and pupils.

And headteacher Sandra Bannerman will be on hand to chat to parents and answer questions.

She said: “It’s a chance for families who might be interested in coming to Beaconhurst to experience a snapshot of our daily life and discover what the school is all about.

“Please come along to see what we have to offer, meet the staff and pupils and get a real feel for the school.”

More details of the Open Afternoon are available on the school website – beaconhurst.com – and prospective visitors are asked to contact the school in advance if they wish to go along.

Parents can register by emailing admissions@beaconhurst.com or calling the school on 01786 832146.
