THE Alman Dramatic Club will bring the stage version of Jeeves and Wooster, Perfect Nonsense, to the Coach House Theatre.

A big hit London production by the Goodale Brothers, eight performances will be given at the Alloa venue throughout August.

Over the last few years, the club has captured the imagination with several major comedies on the refurbished stage at the theatre on Tullibody Road.

The production of the Ealing comedy, The Lady Killers, was extended due to demand and additional nights were worked into the calendar to accommodate numbers for The Thirty-Nine Steps.

In the upcoming show, George Marcinkiewicz will take on the role of Jeeves, while Bertie Wooster will be played with great gusto by Brian Tripney.

Aunt Dahlia will be captured by Samantha Mackenzie and Justice of the Peace is Stuart Bailey, whose twin role as both Sir Watkin and his niece has been cited as a tour-de-force.

Senga Awlson has co-directed the piece alongside artistic director Gerry Docherty, while the set has been constructed by Ron Mennie, Jim Allan and Walter Awlson.

Tickets are £10 each, limited to 63 per performance, and are available from www.thealman.com

Catch a show at 7.30pm from Thursday, August 17, to Saturday, August 19, then from Monday, August 21, to Thursday, August 24.

There is also a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
