AN ALLOA man told police officers he was going to murder them after being arrested for causing a commotion outside a close in Sauchie.

Adam Nicolson was seen causing a ruckus in the stairwell of Branshill Park, Sauchie on March 18 this year.

Last Thursday, Alloa Sheriff Court heard he was ejected from the block following an argument at around 1.30am.

Susannah Hutchison, prosecuting, said: "The accused was put out the block. He started ringing the buzzer which caused a lot of annoyance and police were contacted.

"He was then found in the street under the influence."

Nicolson was then observed shouting: "I am going to f*****g murder you," at someone inside the block. He was then arrested as he told officers that he would "kill you all".

While en route to the police station in Falkirk, Nicolson told a female officer: "I will kill you, ya f*****g whore," and told officers that he was going to bite his lawyer when he saw him.

The 23-year-old unleashed further torrents of abuse towards police regarding their appearance and replied to his charges with: "F**k off, pig".

Nicolson's defence agent, Mr Stewart, told the court that his client, of Rose Street, Alloa, suffers from "a number" of difficulties.

He is also already serving a current sentence which he is due to be released from on April 6.

Sheriff David Mackie deferred sentence on this case until after his release so that reports can be carried out.

The case will recall on April 19.

Nicolson is no stranger to the courts and last year was brought up on a number of charges against hospital staff in Larbert.

The accused, formerly of Sauchie, pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner, shouting and swearing, slamming doors, uttering offensive remarks and making threats of violence.

An allegation that he caused fear and alarm by removing a cigarette lighter from his rear end and throwing it staff was removed from the complaint, following a plea negotiation.

A separate allegation, that Nicolson had assaulted a nurse by throwing a lighter at her, was also dropped.
