A SOCIAL enterprise in Alloa is hosting a day of music on Sunday (13 July).
Resonate in North Castle Street plans a musical celebration as part of national project, Our Big Gig.
The day will begin at 10am with a 'Jammin Breakfast’ and finish at 6pm.
There will be music making workshops – creating instruments out of everyday rubbish or upcycling to make musical chimes – a summer sing-a-long, and the locally based Joe Young Band will take you on a journey across America with their own words and sounds of the USA.
Our Big Gig grew out of Superact’s Bandstand Marathon project which started life in 2008 with the aim of rejuvenating under used community spaces such as bandstands and to provide performance platforms for amateur musicians in local communities.
