AN ALVA funeral service operative laced up his trainers for a good cause.
Ben Cairns, of Co-operative Funeralcare in Alloa, took on the gruelling Edinburgh Marathon in aid of charity last month.
He raised £712 for Gaberston House in Alloa, which is a residential service for adults with mental health support needs.
The local facility is part of the charity Crossreach, which specialises in offering social care.
