Following the success of Pirates! earlier this year, Alloa Musical Players has chosen Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific its next production.
Preparations will begin with an open evening tonight.
This informal get together is for anyone who is interested in becoming involved, either on stage or behind the scenes.
Cast member Lesley Kettles said, “If you’re interested in any aspect of musical theatre, from singing to building sets, running the box office to stage crew, why not come along to meet us - you’ll receive a warm South Pacific welcome and you are sure to enjoy yourself.” AMP’s open evening will take place at the Welfare Hall in Alloa’s Erskine Street on 25 August from 7pm. Rehearsals will start on 1 September for a March 2015 premiere date.
