Police are investigating a report of indecent exposure which took place in Alloa town centre last week.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Tuesday, 11 November, between Waggon Road and Argyll Street, near to the train station.

A 28 year old woman was walking along the road when she passed a man who exposed himself a number of times to her.

She walked away and reported the matter to police.

Local officers have since been conducting various lines of enquiry to trace the suspect and anyone who can assist in identifying him is asked to come forward.

He is described as white, wearing dark trousers with kneepads, a red/orange hooded top with a high-vis sleeveless vest over the top and a grey t-shirt underneath.

Detective Constable Grant Stronach said: “Although the victim was not injured, she was understandably shaken and upset by this incident.

“We are eager to hear from anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious in the Waggon Road or Argyll Street on the evening of Tuesday 11th November 2014 or who recognises the description of the suspect.

“In addition, anyone with any further information relevant to this investigation is also asked to contact police immediately.” Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively, the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
