Christmas fayres and bazaars brought a festive feel to the Wee County last week.
Moncrieff Church’s Xmas Fayre was held in Alloa Town Hall on Saturday (14 November) with a variety of stalls including cake and candy, second hand toys, home preserves, raffle, tombola and there was tea, coffee and home baking.
The Tillicoultry Parish Church also held their Bazaar on Saturday where guests received a warm welcome, a good cup of tea and there were lots of bargains on offer.
In St Mungo’s RC Church Hall in Alloa, The Wee County Cancer Research UK Fundraising Group held their fayre, which also included a variety of stalls. These included, craft, jewellery, soaps, Christmas cards and a children’s tombola. Santa also visited to entertain the children.
The previous week, in St James the Great Church, there was a Santa Workshop with lots of fun and games.
