AN ALLOA woman has denied allegedly assaulting three young children – including a charge of throwing a four-year-old across a room.
The 27-year-old is alleged to have beaten the three boys at two separate addresses in Clackmannanshire.
Between 8 August 2013 and 6 February 2014, she is accused of attacking the eldest, who was between 10 and 11 at the time, hitting him with a hoover pole as well as repeatedly striking him with shoes, a mop, and punching him on the head.
She is also alleged to have carried out similar attacks on another boy, who was aged between eight and nine, while also seizing him by the neck and holding him against a wall.
Finally, she is charged with assaulting a four-year-old boy by striking him on the body, seizing him by the neck and body and throwing him across a room.
Appearing before Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday (15 December), she denied all three charges.
A trial has been set for 19 May with a final intermediate diet on 11 May.
