Adults and young people can take part in free events as a new activity and learning project has been launched in Alloa.

Organised by Clackmannanshire Council’s Youth Services Team, the diary of programmes begins in February offering activities for people of all ages. Family fun sessions, clubbercise and indoor bowls are on offer alongside a wide range of other activities.

Ellen Forson, education, sport and leisure convener, said: “There are some great new activities on offer in this programme, giving young people and their families a chance to take part in some fun and informative sessions for free. I’d encourage everyone to take a look at the programme and try out some new activities.” Useful sessions for parents of teenagers are also on offer, looking at issues like young people and drugs or internet and social networking.

Details of the activities are available on the Events Diary online on clacksweb.org.uk and are free to attend, but must be booked via the Booking Line on 01259 213131.
