NC Administration students at Alloa’s Forth Valley College have been raising funds for charity in the past few months.

The Motor Neurone Disease charity, MND Scotland, was one of the organisations receiving funds after one group from the class held a raffle, and Easter quiz, a guess the teddy’s birthday, made sponsor sheets and also sold merchandise for the good cause.

Business lecturer at the college’s Alloa campus Marlene Boyd said: “The students from the NC Administration course have put a lot of effort into raising funds and awareness of their chosen charities and we are all very proud of them.” Another group from the course supported Diabetes Scotland and the Neuro Foundation, Student Tracey Nicholson and her husband, who both work at Asda in Alloa, raised money through a sponsored haircut event and their employers generously topped up the final sum raised by £180 of the total of nearly £530.
