POLICE have issued an appeal to the public to help find a missing Camelon man who may be somewhere in the Wee County.

Alan MacKenzie was last seen in Learmonth Street, Falkirk, at about 11.30am on Friday (14 August).

He was driving a white Fiat Ducato van, registration number SL05ZVF, with the words “JOHN HEANEY BUILDERS” written on each side.

Investigators say he is known to travel across the central belt area and are asking for people Clackmannanshire to report any sightings.

Alan is 5”7 in height, of medium build, and balding with greying reddish hair. He was last seen wearing black trousers, a black t-shirt and jumper.

Sergeant MacKay at Falkirk Police Stationsaid: “Due to the passage of time Alan’s family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“It is unusual for him not to contact his family for such a long period of time.

“Alan is also known to travel across the central belt area of Scotland in the van.” Anyone who can assist police in tracing Alan, or who has seen his van since Friday, is asked to contact 101.
