Clackmannanshire Business is committed to help grow a resilient and sustainable business base in the county.
To help achieve this, a business survey was carried out last year to capture data that can help to better inform local authority policy development and understand how businesses in the county are performing and growing.
This was the first time that Clackmannanshire Business had conducted a study of this kind.
One specific aspect that raised issues, particularly for those businesses or organisations using commercial vehicles, was the 20mph speed restriction at Redwell Primary School.
Clackmannanshire Council has since held consultation on this matter and has made an amendment to the restriction by introducing a variable 20mph speed limit.
The limit will now be in force between the 8.15am and 4pm, Monday to Friday during school term time, for 16 weeks from Monday (17 August) or until the order becomes permanent.
