PUPILS at Banchory Primary School are failing to build on a good groundwork in nursery education, according to school inspectors.

  STUDENTS from Dollar Academy could see their magazine creation come to life after scooping the top award in the 2011 Scottish School Magazine Competition on Friday.

• Merger between nursery and school

  A PROPOSAL to merge the management teams of Tower Nursery School and Park Primary School was given the council seal of approval last week.
