YOUNGSTERS at Craigbank Primary School in Sauchie demonstrated their learning achievements during an open afternoon.
Parents and carers of pupils in primary 1-3 were able to see their children working in the classroom and primary 3L performed puppet shows about bullying which were very successful.
Pupils in primary 4-5 have been learning about the medieval times and throughout the term have been transforming their open area to reflect their project.
In the afternoon there were a number of guides talking about medieval life, giving visitors the opportunity to taste barley water. There was also a performance of a special dance.
Visitors had a brilliant Japanese experience in the primary 6-7 areas, where they learned about different aspects of the country, tasted sushi, used chopsticks and took part in a tea-blessing ceremony.
They also found out about and drew manga, learned some of the language and made origami.
