ALVA Academy hosted its first World of Work Afternoon on 13 March.
The event was organised by S5 Employability pupils and their teacher Miss George.
Representatives attended from a wide range of businesses and gave pupils an insight into the opportunities available to them in the World of Work.
Parents were invited to have their own look at things when they attended during the school lunch hour.
The event was a huge success, feedback from the representatives and pupils was very positive and the hope is to make it an annual event.
A school spokesperson said, “Well done and a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the afternoon.”
